WHAT IS ARMOR OF GOD?

Armor of God is a 501C3 created by laity with the direct purpose to arm men to be the spiritual leaders that God designed them to be in their homes, workplace and Churches. The Board & Cabinet were formed by lay men in Fort Wayne that saw depravity in otherwise faithful men and felt called to arm them to become strong husbands, fathers, and spiritual leaders. Armor of God has created a monthly Spiritual Briefing that has fresh and relevant content being presented to men as well as a workshop setting to dive deeper into this content to apply it to their lives and armor up. In addition, Armor of God will offer retreats designed to offer men time to come together and learn from one another, diver deeper into God’s plan for themselves and gain the tools and knowledge needed to be the spiritual leaders that we need them to be.

The Board & Cabinet are the core teams of men in charge of delivering the mission of Armor of God to the men that are desiring it. These men are discerned based on their charisms to work closely with committees and others that are called to lead in areas such as finance, youth engagement, invitation, praise and worship, etc. Below is a list of our current Board & Cabinet members. Spiritual BriefingS

Armor of God presents a monthly Spiritual Briefing for all recruits in the Armor of God community. This briefing consists of:

• Opening with the Full Armor of God prayer

• Relevant opening video

• Roll call with updates and reminders

• Presentation from a different discerned presenter each time

• Workshop setting to do a deeper dive into the content presented

• Mortification rosary or adoration

• Battlecry designed to appeal to the men as to their next steps as they take this material back to their homes, workplace, and Churches

A new recruit can join Armor of God at any time and stage in their spiritual journey. All previous Spiritual Briefings recordings and downloadable resources for the Field Training Guide are always available on our website. Spiritual Briefings are available both live and virtually.

Armor of God Retreats

Armor of God retreats are designed to allow men time to get away from their normal stressors and distractions and to get into the silence and spend time in God’s word, listening to God’s plan for them and being fed spiritually with tools, practices and topics designed to arm them to be the spiritual leaders that they are designed to be. We have been blessed with the use of St. Felix Catholic Center in Huntington, IN, a beautiful facility including:

• Multiple chapels

• Dining hall

• Praise and worship room

• Plenty of space for quiet prayer, presentations, fellowship and discernment of God’s plan for us

Field Training Guides

Armor of God wanted to offer men a well-designed leather embossed three-ringed binder with tabs designed for organization and reuse of the material presented to men at our Spiritual Briefings and retreats. As the content we present is designed to build off one another, the Field Training Guides are available for purchase so that men can continue to add resources to better form themselves into the Spiritual Leaders they are called to be.
