THE BRIDGE
The Bridge is the path forward after your Armor of God weekend retreat—where an initial spiritual awakening takes root. Too often, men return from powerful encounters with Christ only to fall back into old patterns, as if stepping off a cliff. The Bridge is our answer to that. It’s the intentional next step, a structure that connects the fire you experienced on retreat to a life of action, accountability, and ongoing spiritual growth. Through these tools, community, prayer, service, and brotherhood, the Bridge keeps you moving forward—so your awakening doesn’t fade, it deepens.
THE PATH TO CONTINUED SPIRITUAL GROWTH
Step 1 - the rescue project
The Rescue Project is an 8-week series of great meals, engaging conversations, and answers to life’s tough questions. During each weekly session, you'll gather for food, watch a presentation, and have conversations in response to what you've heard. The Rescue Project offers a way of seeing reality and of making sense of the world, history, and life!
Step 2 - That Man is you
That Man is You is an interactive men’s program that combines the latest findings of modern science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop authentic male leaders capable of transforming themselves, their families, and greater society. Join us on Saturday mornings for food, fellowship and faith.
Step 3 - Christ renews his parish
Christ Renews His Parish is a spiritual renewal ministry at St. Vincent de Paul Parish that has been helping parishioners grow in faith and community since 1986 through semi-annual retreat weekends. Led by fellow parishioners and parish clergy, these retreats provide a welcoming and prayerful environment for personal renewal, deeper connection with God, and the formation of lasting Christian friendships and support within the parish community
Step 4 - Armor of god
Armor of God is a Catholic men’s ministry dedicated to forming strong spiritual leaders in the home, workplace, and Church. Through monthly Spiritual Briefings, workshops, brotherhood, and retreats, Armor of God equips men with practical tools, prayer, and formation to grow deeper in their faith and better live out God’s calling as husbands, fathers, and leaders. These retreats provide an opportunity to step away from daily distractions, encounter God in prayer and silence, build authentic friendships with other men pursuing holiness, and return home spiritually renewed and prepared to lead with strength and purpose.
Step 5 - St. Cyril Catechetical Institute
St. Cyril Catechetical Institute is a Catholic adult formation program designed to help lay faithful grow deeper in their understanding of the faith and more confidently live out their baptismal calling. Whether you are seeking personal spiritual enrichment or desire to serve in teaching and evangelization ministries, the Institute provides catechetical formation rooted in Scripture, Church teaching, and the story of salvation. Through flexible learning opportunities and certificate programs, you will be equipped to share the Gospel with others and become a more active leader within your family, parish, and community.
Step 6 - CUrsillo
Cursillo is designed for men and women who desire a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and a greater understanding of the Holy Spirit. The weekends include inspiring talks, small group discussions, prayer, Mass, and fellowship. At Cursillo, you will encounter God’s love in a powerful way, building lasting friendships and growing in confidence to bring the presence of Christ into your families, workplaces, and communities.
Step 7 - Rekindle the fire
Rekindle The Fire is a Catholic men’s ministry serving the Diocese of Fort Wayne–South Bend since 2004 through authentic brotherhood, faith formation, and spiritual support. Whether you are seeking a deeper relationship with God, greater accountability in your spiritual life, or connection with other faithful Catholic men, Rekindle The Fire provides opportunities to grow and serve through conferences, monthly gatherings, and ongoing formation. The ministry is rooted in the belief that when men grow in holiness, families and parishes are strengthened and transformed.
Step 8 - knights of columbus
Knights of Columbus is a Catholic brotherhood rooted in charity, unity, fraternity, and service to the Church and community. They serve the parish through charitable works, spiritual support, and fellowship while helping men grow in their Catholic faith and live it out in their families and communities. Through monthly meetings, service opportunities, and parish involvement, members build authentic friendships while supporting the Church, defending the dignity of life, and carrying out the mission of serving those in need.
